Hi everyone!

Today, I'm excited to share details about a challenging and incredibly rewarding project that is currently finalizing its development phase and will soon be heading into production: Tundra Corretores. This is a bespoke web app designed for Tundra Incorporadora, a real estate development company. The application is built to be the central tool for Tundra's partner brokers, optimizing the entire sales cycle—from client registration to proposal tracking—all with smart integration into the company's SharePoint.

The Challenge: Streamlining Sales and Unifying Document Management

Tundra Incorporadora, like many in the real estate sector, was looking for ways to:

Empower their brokers: Provide a modern, efficient tool for them to manage clients, proposals, and appointments autonomously and in an organized manner.

Optimize the proposal workflow: Reduce response times and facilitate communication between brokers and Tundra's internal team.

Centralize and automate document management: A major bottleneck was the organization and access to proposal documents. Integration with the company's existing SharePoint was a key requirement.

The Solution: The Tundra Corretores Web App

To address these challenges, I developed Tundra Corretores, a robust and intuitive web platform designed to meet the specific needs of two main audiences: the brokers and Tundra's internal staff.

Key Features for Brokers:

Tundra Corretores is designed to be the sales professionals' right-hand tool, allowing them to:

  • Register Clients: A simple yet comprehensive system to record information about potential buyers, creating an organized pipeline.
  • Submit Purchase Proposals: Generate and submit proposals directly through the platform, with standardized fields to ensure all necessary information is collected.
  • Monitor Proposals in Real-Time: Track the status of each submitted proposal (pending, approved, rejected, needs more information), providing transparency and agility.
  • Schedule Viewings: A tool to book client visits to model homes or the developments themselves, facilitating logistics and organization.

Key Features for Tundra Incorporadora's Staff:

For Tundra's internal team, the app offers a powerful back-office that, integrated with SharePoint, transforms management:

Proposal Analysis and Management: The ability to approve or reject proposals, or request additional documents and information directly through the platform, with automatic notifications to brokers.

Organized Document Viewing: All documents submitted by brokers are automatically organized and synchronized with specific folders in Tundra's SharePoint. This eliminates manual downloading and uploading, reduces errors, and ensures all authorized employees have access to the latest version of files in a structured way.

The Differentiator: Smart SharePoint Integration

One of the cornerstones of Tundra Corretores is its bidirectional synchronization and integration with Tundra Incorporadora's SharePoint. This functionality is crucial because:

Convenience for Employees: Tundra's team can continue using a tool they are already familiar with (SharePoint) for final document management, while the web app handles the initial collection and organization.

Process Automation: The entry of documents and proposal data via the web app triggers automatic processes for folder creation and file organization in SharePoint, saving precious time and drastically reducing the chance of manual errors.

Single Source of Truth: Ensures that information and documents are consistent between the web app and the company's document management system.

My Approach as a Full Stack Developer:

On this project, I worked across all fronts:

  • Understanding Needs: I worked closely with Tundra to map existing workflows and identify pain points.
  • UX/UI Design: I created intuitive and responsive interfaces, focusing on ease of use for both brokers in the field and managers in the office.
  • Back-end Development: I built the business logic, the SharePoint integration API, and managed the application's database.
  • Front-end Development: I implemented the interfaces with modern technologies to ensure a fluid and agile user experience.
  • Testing and Staging: I ensured the robustness and security of the application through rigorous testing as we approach the deployment phase.

Once in production, Tundra Corretores is designed to bring tangible benefits to Tundra Incorporadora, such as:
